It takes our
whole "Ohana"
(all 3 generations) to make up our floral, catering
and
entertainment business.
Mom (Aunty Liz, from the island
of Maui)
designs & creates all-occasion tropical floral
arrangements.
Her specialty is fresh flower leis.
Ever
heard of "Uncle Choona's Aloha Kitchen"? That's our Daddy
(Uncle
Choona, from the coffee farm on Kona) who cooks up
ono-licious "local-style" Hawaiian food.
Aunty Ne'e (Daughter #1, born
& raised in
San Antonio) directs and coordinates all our parties.
Her specialty is Hawaiian/Polynesian
entertainment (the Hula
Halau Ohana
Elikapeka). Along with her husband, Uncle
Gelly (from Mexico), spins a mean fire knife and stirs up
the
best haupia in San Antonio.
Esther (Daughter #2, also born
& raised in
San Antonio) does all the office managing, and keeps everyone
in
touch with what's going on.
Our
Keiki (Nehu,
Manu & Ka
Uluwehi Kealohilani, all born & raised in Texas) continue to
live
with Aloha in
their hearts and carry
on our traditions and culture through song and dance.
